The paper considers a history of selection work with Hemerocallis L. culture, as well as presents the results of selection studies conducted at the Russian Research Institute of Floriculture and Subtropical Crops (Sochi); 5 promising hybrid forms are described: Zh-3, Zh-8, K-23 , R-4, B-2, differing by high ornamental and economically valuable signs. Their characteristics are given by color, size and shape of the flower, type of vegetation and flowering terms in the season. The hybrids are grouped according to the world registrar of the hemerocallise varieties (The American Hemerocallis Society – AHS). There are two hybrids with yellow coloration (Yellow) – Zh-3 and Zh-8; one red (Red) – K-23; one cream-pinkdotfrom (Cream-Pinkdotfrom) – R-4; and one purple (Purple) – B-2. There were also allocated some forms of single-color/monotonous (Self) group – Zh-3, Zh-8, К-23 and B-2; polychromatic (Polychrome) – R-4; and with the effect of "diamond dusting" (Diamond Dusting) – K-23.
