Seasonal dynamics of the pigment complex power in garden rose (Rosa × hybrida hort.) leaves was studied during 2016–2018, as a result it became possible to establish general seasonal changes in the content of green pigments and carotenoids of this culture, the average content of pigments and their ratio, noting significant differences in a number of indicators depending on a certain cultivar and a functional group. As a result of the analysis, we established some varietal differences in the main photosynthetic pigment content, as well as the dependencies between pigment complex characteristics and weather conditions specific for the Russian humid subtropics
