Currently, hybrid tea roses and their climbers are the leading cultivars of garden roses, and are most widely used in ornamental plantations and greenhouse culture for cutting. The collection of hybrid tea roses in the Russian Research Institute of Floriculture and Subtropical Crops is represented by 22 cultivars. The most common cultivars are yellow (41 %), to a lesser extent – red and pink color groups (32 and 23 %, respectively). According to the research results, the following cultivars resistant to the main biotic stressors were identified – ‘Pink Panther’, ‘Corolla’, ‘Rose Gaujard’, ‘Gold Perl Stein’ and ‘Nostalgie’; and those resistant to abiotic stressors in the humid subtropics of Russia are ‘Corolla’, ‘Gloria Dei’, ‘Rose Gaujard’, ‘Belle Perle’, ‘Red Intuition’ and ‘Pink Panther’.
