The paper analyzed seasonal development, morphogenesis, ornamental qualities, and breeding of Hemerocallis hybrida in the forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia. Introduced Hemerocallis cultivars of foreign origin are characterized by high viability and resistance during their cultivation in extreme conditions of forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia. Hybridological analysis was carried out. There were selected some promising seedlings by size, shape and color of the flower, height and terms of flowering. Ornamental (87–88 points) and economic and biological qualities (41–50 points) were determined. The high adaptation of cultivars was noted, which allowed us to comprehensively assess the results of the introduction experiment and identify about 50 promising cultivars for practical use in the Siberian region.
