The paper analyzes climbing roses collection in the FRC SSC RAS, which includes 23 cultivars. Almost half of the collection is formed by single-flowering cultivars (47.8 %), remontant cultivars – 52.2 % from the total number of cultivars. According to the color of the flowers, the basis of the collection (52.2 %) is the forms of yellow and pink scales, 6 cultivars each. Most cultivars have double (43.5 %) and thick (26.1 %) flowers, four cultivars have semi-double flowers and three cultivars are with simple flowers. The most adapted in the region are ‘Veilchenblau’, ‘Dortmund’, and ‘Domaine de courson’, the other cultivars of climbing roses are medium-resistant to phytopathogens. Climbing roses resistant to major pests are Rosa bracteata, ‘Alberic Barbier’, ‘Dorothy Perkins’, ‘Excelsa’, ‘Albertine’, ‘breath of life’, ‘New dawn’, ‘Micca’, ‘Rosarium Jutersen’, ‘Grand Hotel’, ‘Caesar’, ‘elegance’, ‘Eric Tabarly’ and ‘Rosenfest’.
